Working undisturbed my eye caught the wretched cork that constantly remind me of some time ago, and the complete mystery that surround him and eventually caused his demise, such was life, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. How completely stupid of him to even dare to challenge !

I gave that no more thought as the cork turn between my fingertips then finally the decision made … I had a killer aim, that cork flying through the air to land into the red hot coals of the fire

Pulling a scroll closer I started writing to Kail, me away so often this was the only way to communicate it seems, dark auburn curls almost completely covers my face as it dips forward and the writing stick starts to move, every now and then I would look up and close my eyes, fighting exhaustion that was now my constant companion, that and the incredible tense muscles in my neck and shoulders.

In a carefully worded report I tell him about my adventures, about the merchants I met and without much effort charm with friendliness and wit, just how everything they sell was of sudden interest to me as I made the inventory of their worth, relentless in my quest to ‘convince’ them gently to come trade with the Keep and of course the promise of many profitable deals.

A few interesting facts of certain wagons given with descriptions of where they would most likely travel from and the roads used to approach the keep. I had that wicked smile playing across my lips as I wait for the ink to dry and then read what I put down on there, shaking head some I could not understand just why a physicians handwriting sometimes are referred to as unreadable, mine surely wasn’t bad at all … on second thoughts …

The scroll rolled neatly then tied with a piece of binding fiber before I called for the slave mia to deliver this to the main hall and make sure Kail get it. (hope to catch up with you all again soon)
