Member Rules



General


The Leader's word is final. In His absence, the Second may rule.

Any disputes between the Free of the Home are NOT to be aired in the public forums or in the role-play room. If you have a problem, deal with it in a Gorean manner. If a FM, an Honor spar or Death spar will always rule.

Any full Member of the Home may give out Proby tags, but it is up to the Leader to give a full membership, once the probationary period has been deemed sufficient. There is no set time frame and will depend on the person's role-play.

It is in the interest to read the forums, to keep up to date with what is happening within Your Home. All members of Varian’s Keep must sign up to the Varian’s Keep Forums

All Members need to role-play

Slaves, collared within the Home, must be placed into a Varian’s Keep [VK] collar. The Leader and trainers will determine the skill of the slave and make changes accordingly. Slaves that are of yellow or higher may be purchased from the Leader.

Visiting Free People are not required to wear the ~o

The FM of the Home are required to know and learn thoroughly, the Prodigy rules and practice these within the Home.

Free and slave alike are required to spend time within the Home. If people come and see role-playing being undertaken and people in the Home, They will be more inclined to consider Varian’s Keep as Their home.

If you are to be away from the Home, due to real time, for more than 5 days, please post it to the Forums, so continuing role-play may be adjusted.

There are to be NO private whispers by Visitors to the slaves of the Keep, without gaining permission from a Member of the Home first. ALL PMs not previously approved will be posted openly and dealt with in a Gorean manner.

If you collar or cage within the Home, You must post such to the Forums, or it will be deemed as not happening.

Assassins may hunt within Varian’s Keep.

NO Guest is able to collar, capture or kill within Varian’s Keep.

NO messenger will be recognized, unless wearing their Gorean name, etc and wearing a yellow sash.

If all slaves are busy or there are no slaves within the Home, the FW are expected to serve as Hostess to the FM in the Home.

Varian’s Keep is a mirror Room. You do not do things within Varian’s Keep which can not be done within your own Home.

There is no OOC in the room.

Fun raids will be accepted so long as at least 2 Free Members of the Home present. Raids are for fun and there will be no killing, capture or collaring during a raid.

All Free are to be in the Keep to role-play, not just to sit in the hall.

This is a role-play room, not a chat room.

There are two things to be left at the door when entering Varian’s Keep - bad moods and r/t. This means if you are having a bad day do not bother bringing it to Varian’s Keep.

Any and all thoughts and actions will be held accountable within the Home.



Free Woman Rules

All Free Woman will have respect for ALL Free Men and Free Women of the Home.

Free Women are NOT the equal of Free Men.


NO slavish avs will be worn. Free Women do not show publicly any sexual intent with anyone. Affection is permitted between a Free Woman and Her Mate, but no sexuality in open. If Free Women continually cross the line, they will be given 1 warning, and then if the slavish behavior continues, they may be collared by the Leader.

Free Women have the right to speak as they please; they are Free. However, any FW silly enough to openly insult or offend a FM, leaves herself open to discipline from Him, ranging from gagging, or caging, or collaring or even a whipping. Repeated offenses will be seen as courting a collar, and the FW may be collared by a FM of Varian’s Keep.

The Free Women of the Home are to be 'actively seen' within the Home.

If there are no kajira or the kajira are busy within the Keep, the Free Women will offer to serve within the Home.

Free Women in the Keep are expected to role-play, not just to sit in the hall. This is a role-play room, not a chat room.
